Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to address Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. He stated that he met with soldiers at the command post of the 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya sector, an urban center approximately 12 miles from the city.

Critical Circumstances in Pokrovsk

Recent mapping from a Ukrainian project revealed that opposition armies had made gains into the city and surrounding areas, though a large portion remained beyond firm control by both forces. The situation remains critical, with updates indicating that opposition troops were establishing defenses and building up positions in some districts.

Russian forces are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk front and appear to be operating with increasing comfort within Pokrovsk itself.
